About

Why Temp Mail exists

Every year the average person creates dozens of throwaway accounts — for a download, a coupon, a trial, a Wi‑Fi login. Each one wants an email address, and each one becomes another place where your real address can leak, be sold or be spammed. Temp Mail exists so that you never have to make that trade for things that do not matter.

What we believe

  • Privacy is the default, not a setting. We never ask who you are. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.
  • Temporary should mean temporary. Mailboxes and emails have visible expiry times and are deleted automatically. You can delete anything sooner with one tap.
  • Fast for everyone. The service is built to work on inexpensive phones and slow connections, in fifteen languages, with right-to-left support.
  • Receive-only, on purpose. You cannot send mail from Temp Mail. That keeps the service out of spammers' hands and keeps our domains trusted.
  • Honest about limits. A disposable inbox is not anonymous, not a vault and not a replacement for your real email. We say so, plainly, throughout the site.

How it is funded

Temp Mail is free to use and funded by a small number of clearly labelled advertisements. We do not sell or share email content or addresses with anyone.

Who we are

Temp Mail is built and operated by a small team based in Bangladesh, with servers hosted in Europe. We answer every message sent through the contact page, usually within two working days.

Open standards

Email arrives through standard MX records and is stored as the original RFC 822 message, so anything you export (.eml, .json, .html) opens in the tools you already use.
